This is a compilation of every single (A side + B side) put out through 1971 plus those associated with the 1975 outtakes compilation album Metamorphosis. 'This disc actually has two layers. One is a normal CD. The other layer is a Super Audio CD (SACD) of the same repertoire. Both layers benefit from Direct Stream Digital (DSD) encoding which captures every nuance of the original master tapes.' © 2002 ℗ 1989 ABKCO Records.

Differences from the 1989 version. Disc 1 - The longer version of 'Tell Me' replaces the shorter version found on the 1989 release. Disc 2 - The mono version of 'Child of the Moon' replaces the stereo version issued on the 1989 release.

The 'Singles 1963-1965' box has the short 'Tell Me,' which is not on the ABKCO remaster (that uses the US album edit, 3:43 in length or thereabouts). It's also worth having because it's the only time the complete 'Got Live If You Want It' EP (not to be confused with the LP that came out in 1966) has appeared on an official CD. Version-wise, it seems to use all the mono mixes that the remastered set has. It definitely sounds better than the 1989 version. I never got around to buying the other two boxes, though, so I can't help you there.
